The Making Of The Lexus LF-NX video

Crossover SUVs, almost every manufacturer has a one available. There's a good reason for this influx of small utility vehicles, it is big business right now.

While Toyota has the RAV4 crossover SUV but Lexus has been missing one until now. At the Frankfurt Motor Show, Lexus is drew crowds with its sharply styled LF-NX Concept, a car that provides a competative glimps for the likes of the Audi Q3, BMW X1, and Mercedes-Benz GLK (also debuted at Frankfurt).

There's a lot of show-car to see on the LF-NX, but looking closely, one could see underneath all that body work, a production model are fairly visible. That now trademark Lexus front, with a now separate headlight and running light lamps and a very extreme version of the "spindle" grille. The styling is sliced, pinched and carved out, much like the all new 2014
Lexus IS.  Although it's difficult to tell at this time if the final production model will be so extreme in its looks, our guess will be yes.

Lexus hasn't revealed much about the powertrain, saying only that it incorporates "a new variant of the Lexus Hybrid Drive system tuned for SUV performance." To read the offical Lexus press release, click here.
